Isaac Serumola was employed by Mashatu as a tracker in 2001 until 2006 when he got his guide license and started working as a professional guide in 2007. He was promoted to manage Eagle's Nest in 2017 and has become an invaluable member of staff. Isaac loves working in the bush and enjoys meeting people and is passionate about sharing his knowledge about the bush and about Botswana and its culture. Mathodi Malesela joined the staff at Eagle's Nest in 2017. She was previously employed by famous film maker Kim Wolhuter for just over two years.
Mathodi is our senior housekeeper as well as being a great chef - ask Mathodi to make you her famous chocolate cake! Mathodi is always willing to go the extra mile, from decorating the tables in the evenings to special little touches in camp! |
Annah Serumola joined Eagle's Nest in August 2023 and is married to Isaac. Annah worked as a relief housekeeper and cook at Fika Futi from 2010 till 2013 after which she returned to the family farm. Annah's duties include looking after the laundry and all of the camps linen as well as providing relief in the kitchen and bedrooms with one of the other ladies is off duty. Josephine Ramonwana joined the Eagle's Nest staff in August 2023 having previously worked at Tuli Safari Lodge between 2005 and 2023 and was promoted to camp manageress of Nokolodi Tented Camp as well as other positions in Pitsani Game Reserve and with Pambele Investments.
Josephine assists Mathodi in housekeeping and in the kitchen. Josephine has a great sense of humour and there is usually lots of laughter around her! |
Maemo Ramofi started working at Mashatu in 2015 as a gardener at Merry Hill and was there for 18 months until he moved to Eagle's Nest as a gardener and handyman.
He is always cheerful and friendly and is very proud of his camp and keeping it looking good at all times. Maemo has become an invaluable member of staff over the last few years! |
Moabi Sebawana joined the syndicates staff as a general handyman and gardener in 2016. He works between Rock Camp and Eagle's Nest when Keeme and Maemo are on leave.
Moabi used to work at Merryhill and comes from Bobonong. He has 15 children and is a qualified bricklayer. |
